What if you could smoothly do BBS chatting on mobile?

Twitter is a newly pumped-out hot service that allowing users to share with either friends or strangers what they are doing. Basically, it is a mini blogging service which supports mobile device. The service now has become a web phenomenon in U.S. Check the derived Twitterholic site , Twittervision and Twittermap to feel the heat.

The case proves again that the essence of online community – self expression and the desire for a network with people sharing the same interest. There is also mobile-blogging service existing in China, (see sample at here) why has not it become a hot spot? Maybe it is mainly because BBS is the dominating online application in China. But what if mobile service in China start smoothly supporting BBS chatting? Check the screenshot above, top automobile BBS members are generating most buzz during working hours which means they are trying to utilize every available minute. They could “waste” even less time to do this with a BBS chatting function on mobile device. After all, traffic time is usually not that fast and interesting.
