We are pleased to announce that our IWOM panel 2010 Shanghai stop will begin at 1 PM at School of Management Fudan University on November 15.

CIC’s IWOM panel has been an annual event for us since 2007 and is an event where we bring together thought leaders from brands, agencies and the media to talk about the latest trends and best practices in social media. We had a successful Beijing panel in September and now we are gearing up for the big one in Shanghai.
The theme of the Shanghai panel this year is “From Social Media to Social Business.” We will have Scott Spirit, Chief Strategy Officer from WPP, open the session to talk about the role and impact of social media from on the communications industry. Following will be social media marketing case studies from David Liu, Founder and CEO of super hot location based service Jiepang, Clement Yip, CCO and MD from digital agency Agenda and Dr. Zou Deqiang from Fudan University, who specializes in social media. Finally, Jacqui Zhou, Dell’s digital globalization manager based in Austin, will come to present how Dell has socialized its entire business with vivid case studies of social CRM. I will sum up our concept of social business and then moderate a panel of all speakers where we will discuss how the landscape is shifting from social media to social business IN CHINA in unique ways.
During the event, every participant will get the hard copy of our CIC IWOM watch 2006 – 2010 compilation about “best practices of social media marketing” for the past 4 years. We will also be broadcasting live via our SINA Weibo account.
